Day 7: Koepka Conquers All

The day started out windy, cool and dry. These conditions led many to believe scores might go higher on this final day. While the windy conditions may impact some, it did not have any apparent effect on this year’s champion Brooks Koepka.

Day 5: Halfway Home

Paul Casey looked to have done the deed and gone daft when he dropped four strokes in two holes early in the round.

Day 4: And They’re Off And Running

The opening round of the US Open got off to a rip-roaring start with great scoring under sunny skies, and more heat. Ricky Fowler went in the morning wave and set the bar quite high with a seven under par 65.

Day 3: Sand Valley Serenade

Wednesday I took a detour from the US Open festivities and drove up to the new Mike Keiser (the developer of Bandon Dunes) resort at Sand Valley.
